  1. State programs on informatization.
  2. Social problems of informatization.
  3. Information technologies and the Internet.
  4. Application areas of equations of mathematical physics and particular features of their mathematical description.

Syllabus of the course:

Foreign experience. Russian experience.

Social problems of informatization.

Key regularities and forms of communication on the Internet. Concept and criteria of Internet addiction. Specific character of computer role-playing games and formation of addiction to them.

Teaching methods:

  • lectures,
  • laboratory work,
  • students’ independent work performed according to the teacher’s task in classrooms and on an extracurricular basis, including use of technical training aids (compulsory),
  • tutorials.

Total hours – 108.

Total credits – 3.

Laboratory work – 0.5/18.

Form of interim assessment – pass/fail exam.
