The USA has changed her view of life. We talked to a student from NMSTU, who has spent six months already at Snow College (UT, USA) as part of an exchange program.
For 11 days – from 2nd through 12th March 2019, Krasnoyarsk will become the capital of world winter student games. This will be the first sports event of such scale that will take place in Siberia. For the city of Krasnoyarsk, the student games are a great honour and responsibility and a unique chance to show the true Siberian spirit and hospitality to the world.
NMSTU’s international involvement keeps expanding. Two new memorandums of understanding have been signed since the beginning of this year: one with the National Formosa Universityin Taiwan and the other one – with the Central South University in Changsha, China.
These memorandums cover joint educational and scientific activities, exchange of teaching staff and students, as well as exchange of practices and knowledge within research and educational projects.
Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University saw a visit of a Portuguese delegation. Professors from the University Aberta in Lisbon, Portugal met with the NMSTU leadership and discussed potential cooperation. They also met with the students.
On 11-13 December 2018 NMSTU welcomed the representatives of Indian companies: Bhide Vasant Chandrakant, Director for Development of International Business, Saroj Industries, and Srivastava Gyanendra Narain, General Director, owner of Omhanu Machines PVT.LTD.
Mikhail Chukin, Rector of Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, the flagship university of the Southern Urals, gave an interview describing prospects of the university before its 85th anniversary.
The workshop that took place on November 19th through 23rd as part of the Magnitogorsk Materials Week Severe Plastic Deformation of Metallic Materials, featured lectures presented in English by the following speakers:
The Master’s students from the University of Padua AntonioComazzetto and MattiaFranceschi are currently studying at NMSTU under the Erasmus+ academic mobility programme. During one semester, they will do theoretical and practical training, which will form the basis for their Master’s theses.
