The Faculty of economics and law
The faculty of economics and law was founded in 1994.
Nowadays it is a prestigious faculty, where 10 professors, Doctors of Sciences and more than 60 assistant professors work.
The faculty provides training according to 7 specialities:
- “Accounting, Analysis, and Auditing”.
- “Economics and Management of Industrial Enterprises (different branches”.
- “Finances and Credit”.
- “Marketing”.
- “Jurisprudence”.
- “Taxes and Taxation”.
- “Mathematics and Statistics”.
The faculty has its own post-graduate courses.
The main fields of research work are:
- development and implementation of the “Standard-cost” accounting system at metallurgical enterprises;
- improvement of industrial resources management method at metallurgical enterprises;
- evaluation problems of town-forming enterprise social and environmental activity;
- improvement of marketing research technique;
- assessment of movable property and real estate, business evaluation;
- business-planning of industrial investment projects;
- optimal improvement of an enterprise finance.
