Welcome to the Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University and to our online community!

Our university is the city’s main higher education institution and one of Russia’s most prestigious multidisciplinary universities. Every year we gladly accept local students, as well as foreign students. Our students live an active life and participate in many competitions and win Russian and foreign grants.

I believe that our University monitors current trends in education, engineering and science.  NMSTU participates in EU projects on the modernization of curricula. Our University can provide students with competences they need to adapt to social and economical challenges. The Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University is continually establishing relations with foreign universities, business communities, lecturers and researchers.

2015-06-24-china This year the 6th International Congress on Science and Technology in Steelmaking was held in Beijing on May 12-15. Representatives of plants, organizations, research and educational institutions from over 30 countries visited this forum.

A business visit from France

2015-06-22-france Early June NMSTU welcomed Jean-Jacques Rousseau, a representative of the Jean Monnet University (Sainte-Etienne, France). In the course of the meeting the parties discussed academic mobility of teachers and French and Russian students majoring in electrical engineering.

Lectures in Pernambuco

2015-06-22-brazil Olga A. Karamalak, Associate Professor of the English Philology and Translation Department, visited the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (Recife, Brazil) from the 19th of May to the 4th of June. The visit was arranged as part of the Agreement on International Cooperation and Academic Student Exchange signed in autumn of 2014 during the visit of the Brazilian professor Wellington Marinho de Lira to NMSTU.


2015-06-22-akasheva Tatiana V. Akasheva, Head of the Department of Romance and Germanic Philology and Translation, was awarded a grant from the Federal Ministry of Education of Austria, the Culture and Language Union, in the cities of Graz and Steinbach am Attersee, for advanced training.

Nosov Magnitogorsk StateTechnical University Joins Russian-Indian Association of Higher Education Institutions

2015-05-19-india During the official visit to the Russian Federation of the President of India Pranab Mukherjee, on the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the Ministry of Human Resource Development of India, a round table of rectors of leading universities of the two countries took place at Lomonosov Moscow State University on May 8. The meeting discussed the prospects of development of inter-university cooperation and the establishment of Russian-Indian Association of Universities.

Global Recognition

1 2 From 30 April to 10 May 2015 Moscow saw the world largest international all-in dance project: the 12th World Dance Olympiad.

At all times this event attracts best dancers from every corner of the world and has a record prize fund – 660,000 rubles.

For 11 days four platforms of the exhibition complex Sokolniki were shared by dance teams from various countries and regions participating in non-stop competitions on over fifty dance styles: hip hop, flamenco, tango, salsa, Bollywood show, sport, ball-room and Oriental dances, folk dances, break dance, cheerleading and many others.
