The Faculty of Physical Education and Sportsmanship (FPES) was founded by the decision of the Academic Council of Magnitogorsk State University dated July 05, 2009 (Order No. 06-06-111 dated June 8, 2009). Since its foundation, R. A. Kozlov, the Master of Sports of the USSR in Judo, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Honored Coach of the Russian Federation, has been the dean of the faculty.
