- State of iron ore and fuel and energy sectors in world and Russian metallurgy. Modern refractory materials.
- Modern blast-furnace process. Main directions in coke consumption reduction. Alternative processing of iron ore raw materials.
- Problems and prospects in using unconventional iron crude ore and new fuel types in metallurgical enterprises of the South Ural region.
- New steel grades: high-strength steels, specialty steels. Up-to-date requirements for harmful ingredients contents.
- Achievements and main problems of the metallurgical science.
- Up-to-date continuous steel casting and main directions in its development. Casting and rolling plants.
- Issues of production of ferroalloys and key non-ferrous metals in Russian metallurgy.
- Major issues of basic oxygen and arc-furnace steelmaking processes. Ladle treatment of steel.
Activities:
