The course consists of the following units and topics:

1. Introduction. Problems of organization of road and railway transportation of cargo.
2. Special issues of organization of railway transportation of cargo.
3. Special issues of organization of road transportation of cargo.
4. Peculiarities of organization of intermodal and multimodal transportation. Operation and application of materials-handling machines.
5. Special issues of transport cargo handling.

Activities:

1. Teacher-led group activities in a classroom;
2. Extracurricular self-study of the teacher’s assignments and tasks, including the use of educational facilities (obligatory);
3. Tutorials.
