The course consists of the following units and topics:
1. Licensing and certification in transportе.
Topics: Licensing and certification system of the Russian Federation. Licensing of transport activities. Transport certification system.
2. Specialized rolling stock.
Topics: Specialized railway rolling stock. Specialized road rolling stock.
3. Design engineering and repair of specialized rolling stock.
Topics: Basics of the design engineering and repair of specialized rolling stock. Repair and maintenance systems of the railway rolling stock. Repair and maintenance systems of the road rolling stock.
4. Certification of specialized railway rolling stock.
Topics: Certification of specialized traction facilities and wagons. Certification of rolling-stock repair services. Certification of special and specialized rolling stock.
5. Certification of specialized road rolling stock.
Topics: Road transport certification system. Certification of mechanical transport vehicles. Certification of transport-vehicle repair and maintenance services. Certification of special and specialized road rolling stock.
6. Repair and upgrading of specialized rolling stock.
Topics: Life extension and plant life extension of specialized rolling stock. Overhaul repairs and upgrading of particular units and the whole structure of specialized rolling stock. Inspection of specialized rolling stock after repair measures.
Activities:
- Teacher-led group activities in a classroom;
- Extracurricular self-study of the teacher’s assignments and tasks, including the use of educational facilities (obligatory);
