NMSTU Students Excel in All Star Match!

From 24 to 28 January, the Russian city of Orel was witnessing a grandiose student sports event – All Star Match by the Student Basketball Association (or, SBA). This is an annual event that gathers the best basketball players from Russian universities’ teams. The participants are divided into two teams: one represents the East, the other one – the West. This time the match in Orel gathered more than 800 audience.

This year marked the third time when NMSTU students took part in the match due to their excellent skill and perfect statistics.

Three NMSTU students supported the East team, and even though the counterpart team won the match, our sportsmen were a great asset.

Another highlight of the event included a meeting of the SBA Board, which was attended by the head of the NMSTU’s Stalnye Lisy Club. At the same time, the Club’s mascot, video artist and cameraman took up a training course in media.
