NMSTU– UCLA: Russian-American Seminar

Ms Comstock is currently working for doctor’s degree and her research interests cover a broad range of issues related to the language of mentality. The lecture on Morphological Priming in the Russian Language and the Russian-American seminar “Language – Culture – Mentality” were marked with a constructive and inviting atmosphere. The Department of the English Language have always paid a great deal of attention to the quality of language teaching trying to involve native speakers in the learning process.

All participants agreed that both the lecture and the seminar offered a unique and useful experience. The American lecturer said she was very impressed with the host university, especially with the students and the faculty. She also expressed her hope for further cooperation.
