NMSTU has recently seen a visit by the French delegation headed by Adviser to the Prime Minister of France for International Commerce and President of the International Commission of MEDEF Philippe Verbert.
The French delegation approached the University with a proposal of cooperation in education. The Institut Supérieur du Commerce de Paris (or, ISC Paris Business School) has worked with Russian universities before, and it proved to be a successful practice. Philippe Verbert offered to launch joint educational programmes in entrepreneurship and management at NMSTU.
The NMSTU rector welcomed the proposal and the University is now working on preparing a detailed draft of a joint double-degree programme.
The focus of the EMBA General Management programme is on the basics of management, leadership, management efficiency and optimization of business processes. The programme comprises such classical disciplines as strategy, marketing, organizational behaviour, financial analysis and accounting, etc. Both Russian and French teaching staff are to be involved, and the programme graduates will be entitled for two degrees: by NMSTU and by ISC Paris Business School.
