NMSTU Ranks Up Among Flagship Universities

The International Information Group Interfax announced the results of the 2017/2018 National University Ranking. A flagship university, NMSTU has gained 33 points and is now ranked 90th in the general ranking and 16th among the 33 so-called flagship universities of Russia with a 7-point step-up.

A total of 288 leading universities of Russia were evaluated in the ranking, including 29 national research universities, 10 federal universities, 33 flagship universities and 21 Project 5-100 participants. The ranking also included 7 leading private universities.

The ranking uses a 1000-point scale and six assessment parameters, which include teaching, research activity, learning environment, international and cross-regional cooperation, innovations and university brand.

The source data for the ranking include open materials about the universities, the data collected by Interfax through questionnaires, the university monitoring data provided by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, as well as the SCAN-Interfax overview.
