Russo-Indian Workshop

On 8th June, a workshop took place at NMSTU with professor Puneet Tandon from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur.
The first part of the workshop was about the Indian education, as well as the research and educational facilities available at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing Jabalpur.
The second part of the workshop focused on one of the major research subjects overseen by professor Puneet Tandon – i.e. Advanced Incremental Forming. The professor showed the unique capabilities of the process designed to produce parts with sophisticated geometry for aerospace and automotive industries.
The participants then talked about future collaboration, which can also be possible under the project of the International Laboratory Mechanics of Gradient Nanomaterials which was presented earlier during the Magnitogorsk Rolling Practice 2018 conference.
