Study in France: for NMSTU students only!

International activities of NMSTU students take on new dimensions: at present, the students gain unique knowledge in various parts of the world. France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Bulgaria, China – study exchange programs offer extraordinary opportunities to acquire knowledge, as well as to experience unforgettable six months in another country. Tens of truly remarkable stories of our participants have something in common, namely inexpressible emotions and new prospects in life.

Continuing our long-term collaboration with IUT de Saint-Étienne, France, the NMSTU group took part in the International Forum bringing together representatives of universities from New Zealand, Malta, Scotland, Germany, Spain, Denmark, and Russia. It is worth noting that the NMSTU group was the only one from Russia. The participants gave presentations about their universities to French students. The NMSTU exhibition stand was of great interest to visitors: they could not only get all information from the primary source, but also learn Russian traditions, play with the Russian alphabet and even try Russian food.

As a result of this Forum, in February of 2020 five French students will come to Magnitogorsk to study for a semester at NMSTU. As for our students, Yuliya Kostenkova and Anzhelika Mukhamadieva, students of group AMB-17 majoring in mechatronics and robotics, have already begun to study at IUT for a fall semester under the Erasmus+ scholarship program funded by the European Commission.

The above opportunity is offered to all students majoring in mechanics and electric power engineering, showing high academic performance and having a Level B1 command of French. The scholarship covers all expenses for a half-year period of accommodation and study in France. Such high financial support will be valid till 2021. This is a great chance for NMSTU students to hurry up and participate in the scholarship contest.

Everyone interested should contact the NMSTU International Office: 45/2, K. Marx street, rooms 424, 426; tel.: +7 (3519) 22 04 67. Keep in mind that student years are an opportunity not only to learn the professional skills, but also to see the world.
