A truly sensational event entered the history of scientific discoveries made by NMSTU researchers. NMSTU’s professor Mikhail Abramzon has published a unique collection of Bosporan coins that was stolen from the Kerch Museum by the Nazis during World War Two. The collection was published in the book “Ancient Coins. Pre-war Collection Granted to the Federal Republic of Germany”.
Everyone was impressed. Leading scientists of Europe and Asia and young scientists in metal forming completed their work at the 4th International Youth Scientific and Practical Conference Magnitogorsk Rolling Practice 2019, taking place at Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University from 4 to 7 June.
From 4 to 7 June Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University will host the 4th International Youth Conference Magnitogorsk Rolling Practice 2019 (Innovative Metal Forming Processes: Fundamental Issues of Science and Production) dedicated to the 85th anniversary of NMSTU.
Traditionally, the conference is meant to gather young scientists and world-known scientists from Russia and abroad to discuss the latest achievement in metal forming processes. The conference is unique and distinguished by a non-conventional format providing for workshops of leading scientists and reports of young scientists in specific sessions. In addition to lectures and discussions, conference participants will undertake an industrial tour of PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, the Russian largest iron and steel company, infrastructure of the university and enjoy the entertainment program outside the city, in particular, a visit to a well-known alpine-skiing center near Bannoye lake.
On the 24th of April 2019 the Institute of Humanities held a meeting of the session on current issues of modern science, engineering and education as part of the 77th International Research and Technical Conference. One of speakers delivering a presentation in the session was Professor Daniel Aldo Soares, a teacher of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiano (Goiania, Goias state, Brazil). NMSTU has an official cooperation agreement with this Brazilian institute. This is already the fourth group from Brazil received by the Department of Preschool and Special Education, the Institute of Humanities, over the last two years.
Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University and ISC Paris Business School implement the Executive MBA joint program in General Management.
ЕМВА General Management is an international post-diploma program for specialists in enterprise management intended for executives, having management experience of two years or longer, interested in obtaining an international diploma to successfully promote their business and career. The project is under implementation at the Horizon Institute of Additional Vocational Education and Personnel Engineering of NMSTU since September of 2018.
Two students of Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, Alexey Avramenko and Maxim Anikushin, returned from Jean Monnet University (Saint-Etienne, France), where they studied under the exchange program within one semester.

The 2nd Magnitogorsk Materials Week held at Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University came to a close. Scientists with a world-wide reputation from Russia, the USA and India discussed currently important aspects of severe plastic deformation of metallic materials.
