Party for Everybody: Shrovetide

Last week, students from NMSTU’s Institute of Humanities and Department of Computer Science and IT organized a tea party for the students from the Jean Monnet University, Saint-Etienne, France. The name of the party was “Party for Everybody: Shrovetide”.
The NMSTU students welcomed the foreign guests with Russian ‘bliny’ and told them the history of 'Maslenitsa' and the Russian holiday of February 23rd. The participants talked about their universities, study abroad and many other things. Two associate professors from the Department of Linguistics and Literature provided coordination and linguistic support for the party.
