From 14th thru 20th October, Khujand State University in Tajikistan witnessed another workshop under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building project “Excellence in Engineering Education through Teacher Training and New Pedagogic Approaches in Russia and Tajikistan”. The aim of the recent workshop was to define what areas would be potentially most important for the consortium, which encompasses 12 universities from Russia, Romania, England, Portugal and Tajikistan. Two associate professors from NMSTU took part in the workshop.
The workshop agenda covered such issues as building a web platform for the development and implementation of online courses; approval of an EXTEND project and initial outcomes dissemination plan; approval of the project plan for year 2; drafting and approving of a list of management competences required by EXTEND training centres, which were established by each participating university; and other issues.
As part of the project, the NMSTU participants presented a series of lectures for last-year bachelor’s students of humanities at Khujand State University.
