Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities

Russian-Kyrgyz Consortium of Technical Universities (RKKTU) was established in 2013 based on the decisions of Inter-government Kyrgyz-Russian Commission on trade-economical, science-technical and humanitarian cooperation (Protocol of 13-th meeting dated April 12, 2011 and Protocol of 14-th meeting dated April 27, 2012.).

Consortium was created under support of Ministries of education and science of Russian Federation and Kyrgyz Republic. It is a voluntary association of Russian and Kyrgyz universities, which have signed an Agreement on Consortium establishment or joined Consortium later. These universities share common aims of support and development of joint network education programs.

Co-Chairmen of the Board

Co-Chairmen of the Board are rectors of National Research University “Moscow Power Engineering Institute” and Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I.Razzakov. At that MPEI serves as a coordinator of Russian members of Consortium and represents their interests at Russian Ministry of Education and Science, while KSTU serves as a coordinator of Kyrgyz members of Consortium and represents their interests at Kyrgyz Ministry of Education and Science.

The Contest of research projects carried out by young scientists and supervised by Candidates (PhD) and Doctors of Science in scientific organizations of the Russian Federation in 2015

Basic terms of the Contest

1. Start date for the applications September 1, 2014
2. Deadline for receiving e-applications June 30, 2015
3. Deadline for submitting printed forms Not later than 5 months before the Project
4. Amount of the Grant RUB 70,000 monthly*
5. Duration of the Project - In multiples of one calendar month,
- From 1 to 5 calendar months.
6. Start date of the Project Not earlier than February 1, 2015
7. End date of the Project Not later than December 15, 2015
8. Applications may be submitted - by legal entities,
- by individuals.
9. Requirements for the person in charge of the Project - A person in charge may be a young scientist working in a research organization or a higher professional educational institution, as well as a university student (only those who have two years of study left), master’s students and PhD students.
- The age of the person in charge should not exceed 35 years as of the December 31, 2015.
- A person in charge should have a permanent residence and place of work (study) outside the region of the Russian Federation, where an organization that provides facilities for performance of the Project is located.
10. Requirements for the Project manager - employment relationship with the organization providing facilities for performance of the Project,
- at least three publications in the last three years in a Project-related field in journals included in a list of leading periodical publications (a list of the Higher Attestation Commission), or included in one of citation systems (bibliographic databases): Web of Science, Scopus, Web of Knowledge, Astrophysics, PubMed, Mathematics, Chemical Abstracts, Springer, Agris, GeoRef;
- Degree of a Candidate of a Doctor of Science.
11. Documents to be attached to the e-application

- A copy of the Order of the head of a Scientific organization authorizing  appointment of the Project Manager and / or a power of attorney to represent the Project on behalf of the Scientific organization.
12. Documents required to be submitted to the Foundation in a printed form

- form containing information about the Project Manager (Form 2-R),
- form containing information about the Project and the person in charge of the Project (Form 26),
- form containing information about the organization (Form 3),
- original of an approval given by an organization where the person in charge of the Project works or studies regarding his/her participation in the Project.
12.2. - for Projects submitted on behalf of a legal entity - title form (Form "T_o"),
- form containing information about the Project Manager (Form 2-R_o),
- form containing information about the Project and the person in charge of the Project (Form 26),
- form containing information about the organization (Form 3_o),
- original of an approval given by an organization where the person in charge of the Project works or studies regarding his/her participation in the Project,
- a certified copy of the Order of the head of a Scientific organization authorizing  appointment of the Project Manager and / or a power of attorney to represent the Project on behalf of the Scientific organization.
