NMSTU Delegation Visits Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice

This May a delegation from NMSTU paid a visit to the Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice, Czech Republic.

The participants in the meeting with Rector Marek Vochozka discussed further cooperation between the two universities in research and education. Together with Head of Department for International Relation Kateřina Rowe and Erasmus+ coordinator Romana Mráčková NMSTU looked at possible joint participation in EU programmes.

NMSTU’s Vice Rector for International Affairs Aleksey Korchunov pointed out that the Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice is a state-of-the-art and rapidly developing institution and is a reliable partner for NMSTU within Erasmus+ academic mobility programmes. Under the Erasmus+ framework, six academics from NMSTU visited the Czech university with lectures in economics, logistics, civil engineering and material engineering. And eight of the NMSTU students took a semester of studies in the Czech Republic. Both institutions highlighted a great potential for further cooperation. The rector of the host university received an official invitation to return the favour and visit NMSTU.
