Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University and ISC Paris Business School implement the Executive MBA joint program in General Management.

ЕМВА General Management is an international post-diploma program for specialists in enterprise management intended for executives, having management experience of two years or longer, interested in obtaining an international diploma to successfully promote their business and career. The project is under implementation at the Horizon Institute of Additional Vocational Education and Personnel Engineering of NMSTU since September of 2018.

A mission of the program: training of managers according to standards on management competence complying with international norms. This program shaping a strategic way of thinking is qualified as driving to a new level of development of small- and medium-size business by creating new enterprises; improving investment climate of the city and the region. EMBA General Management is focused on economic basics of enterprise management, leadership, a project approach, efficiency of control and business process optimization.

The EMBA program of study on a deeper scale of its parameters differs from other similar programs: students are enrolled at two universities, NMSTU and ISC Paris Business School; classes are held by teachers from France and Russia (Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk and Magnitogorsk), selected on a competition basis by a teaching committee of ISC Paris Business School. Training is in Russian, and the committee for acceptance of control activities includes representatives of customers, being executives of enterprises.

The teaching process is based on discussions of case studies supposing that program participants will rely on their experience to a considerable extent. It consists of 13 business-oriented modules from experts.

Upon their graduation, the students will be awarded diplomas of NMSTU and Executive MBA of ISC Paris Business School. Holders of an ISC Paris Business School diploma have no difficulties with finding a prestigious and well-paid job not only in Russia, but also in other countries, and successfully realize their potential.

ISC Paris Business School is an accredited member of the AACSB international agency, an important and credible accrediting organization, evaluating the quality of education in business administration and management. Over 15,000 graduates successfully build their careers in top companies in 80 countries of the world. The Institute has 120 partner companies. Many students get job offers before their graduation from ISC Paris.

Students of EMBA General Management implemented at the Horizon Institute include directors of various management levels: PJSC MMK, Faeton Managing Company, Mechanical Repair Complex, Magkholod, Compass Plus, RSU, and NMSTU.

As part of the program, the students of the group have already passed courses of project management, managerial economics, macroeconomics, cross-cultural management, leadership, HR management, strategic management, macroeconomics, financial management, innovation management.

Next course on marketing management was held on 8-10 March 2019 by François Cabaret, a teacher of ISC Paris Business School. François has considerable experience of training management personnel in the field of management and efficient marketing in international business companies.

The students of the course learnt about currently existing approaches to marketing management, main aspects of practical marketing, new technologies of market research and consumer behavior. This allows the students to make more efficient decisions, calculate prices for goods and services, analyze competitors, market environment, consumer needs and develop a marketing strategy for the enterprise.

In the near future students of the program will have the most attractive part of their studies: internship in France, including both a theoretical unit and practical one. In Paris the students will take the following courses: category management, data mining or intellectual data analysis, innovative approaches to leadership, cyber security, prospects of a luxury/premium market segment, and visit enterprises from various fields: Total, L'Oréal, Casino distribution network (retail), BNP Paribas, Enology School.

Studying at the foreign business institute, visiting international companies and communications with students of foreign business schools are aimed at providing the EMBA students with invaluable experience.

The students comment on advantages of participation in the program. These include establishment of relations and contacts, which often entail monumental changes in their careers, expansion of a base of contacts, changes of their attitude to a life strategy and main aims, integrative thinking, higher quality of comprehension and understanding of business processes.
