Dmitry Muraviev, Assistant Professor at NMSTU’s Department of Logistics and Transportation Management, has been awarded a grant by Global Education Program. Under this program the Russian government provides funding for study at leading universities of the world.
The NMSTU team comprising students and teachers are getting ready to participate in the first Promobot Сhallenge hackathon (Hackathon is a forum of software developers in which programmers specializing in various fields collaborate on a certain task), which will focus on service robot programming. Promobot Сhallenge is organized by Promobot and supported by the National Entrepreneurial Network (Rybakov Foundation).

DREAMS STYLE Garage, a race car design team from NMSTU’s Multidisciplinary College, took part in Formula Tyumen 2017, a student competition in race car design. It was not the first time the NMSTU team participated in such event.
This year the European Universities Table Tennis Championship took place in Olomouc, Czech Republic.
The delegation of Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University headed by Rector Valery Kolokoltsev paid a return visit to the University of Kragujevac in Serbia. In 2016 NMSTU and the University of Kragujevac signed a cooperation agreement aimed at consolidating scientific, educational and cultural ties between the two institutions.
Both undergraduate and postgraduate students of NMSTU are welcome to take part in the competition to win an internship with Danieli (Italy).
For the first time Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University provided the venue for the preliminary stage of the International Championship in Metallurgical Technologies Metal Cup 2017. The championship is organized by the youth association of professional metallurgists from Krasnoyarsk.
This May a delegation from NMSTU paid a visit to the Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice, Czech Republic.
The participants in the meeting with Rector Marek Vochozka discussed further cooperation between the two universities in research and education. Together with Head of Department for International Relation Kateřina Rowe and Erasmus+ coordinator Romana Mráčková NMSTU looked at possible joint participation in EU programmes.
