Under the bilateral agreement signed between the University of Milan and Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, we are pleased to announce a competition for academic mobility students who wish to spend the 2nd semester of 2016-2017 – i.e. February through May 2017 – in Milan, Italy.
Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University signs a cooperation agreement with the University of Science and Technology Beijing, China.
At the end of September 2016, Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, or NMSTU, welcomed the official representatives of the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) Narasimhan Krishnaiyengar and Gururajan Mogadalai Pandurangan. On November 11th, NMSTU students met with an Austrian author, translator and winner of literature awards Erwin Einzinger from Vienna. The meeting, which was held in the NMSTU Austrian Reading Room, is a part of the cooperation deal between the University, the Embassy of Austria and the Austrian OeAD.
This visit marked the third time when the NMSTU Department of Romano-Germanic Philology and Translation welcomed Austrian guests. The entire meeting was in German, so it was only natural that quite a few students of German were among the participants.
Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University is ranked among the 67 best universities in the country.
On November 8th, the Russian Ministry of Education and Science posted a national university ranking. The ranking is based on the quality of education and was prepared by the Social Navigator project, a part of Russia Today International News Agency, supported by the Ministry. The ranking is a new initiative launched by Minister Olga Vasilyeva who was appointed to this post in August 2016. Over 100,000 applications were received totally from all over Russia.
The rector of the Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University and the rector of the University of Kragujevac (Serbia) have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at consolidating scientific, educational and cultural ties between the two institutions.
Earlier this summer our University signed a cooperation agreement with the Magnitogorsk Public Organization of Peoples’ Friendship MOST aimed at strengthening ties with the Serbian partners in education, science, culture, sports and social sphere.
This provided a framework for the first official visit of the University of Kragujevac delegation to NMSTU that took place on November 2nd at the University premises aimed at sealing the cooperation between the two universities.
A new international partnership has been established by Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University. NMSTU has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Trieste, Italy.
The first visit to the University of Trieste took place in September this year when a group of NMSTU students were doing their practical training at Danieli in Italy. Mr. Levandovskii, Associate Professor at the Department of Materials Processing, and Mr. Nikolaev, Head of the Department of Automated Electric Drive and Mechatronics, took the opportunity and paid a visit to the University of Trieste, where they were taken on a tour around the University laboratories.
