Information and Computer Science

The educational objective of the program leading to the Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science is to develop experience, competencies, knowledge and practical skills, required for professional independent solution of designing tasks, development, application and implementation of information technology basic elements, which meet requirements and current state of software systems and computing market.

 

The program's special focus is on:

  • providing skills and knowledge in research, academic and educational activities, project design, project engineering and managerial activities in the field of information and telecommunication technologies;
  • development of the ability of searching and receiving new information needed to solve the problems in the area of knowledge integration relating to their activity field, to realize their responsibility for making professional decisions;
  • ability to prove and defend their own conclusions and findings in front of the audience of various professional levels, to organizational and management activities in interdisciplinary production areas;
  • development of self-education skills and continuous professional self-improvement under conditions of market economy.
